1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the GoalPlus mobile application (the “App”), developed and provided by DCMA Technology Limited (“DMCA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). GoalPlus helps people set goals, track actions and pitfalls, and review progress.
This policy does not cover third-party websites, app stores, or services that have their own privacy policies.
2. Information handled by the App
Information stored on your device
The App stores the information you choose to enter in local, on-device storage. This can include:
- goals, target dates, actions, habits, milestones, pitfalls, notes, point values, streaks, progress, and completion history;
- an optional display name;
- your language and notification preferences; and
- an optional profile picture selected from your photo library or taken with your camera.
Information sent from the App
GoalPlus does not upload the goals, notes, progress, preferences, or profile picture you enter. The App has no AI or cloud-processing feature.
3. How information is used
The App uses information to:
- display and manage your goals, actions, pitfalls, daily score, streaks, and insights;
- remember your app preferences and optional profile picture;
- schedule reminders locally on your device when you enable notifications; and
- maintain the security, integrity, and operation of the App.
We do not use the information you enter for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
4. Device permissions and notifications
GoalPlus may ask for access to:
- Photos — so you can choose a profile picture;
- Camera — so you can take a profile picture; and
- Notifications — so the App can schedule the daily reminder time you select.
Profile pictures remain in the App’s private local storage. Daily reminders are scheduled on your device. You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings; the rest of the App will continue to work, although the related feature will be unavailable.
6. Storage, security, and retention
Your goals, preferences, profile picture, and progress remain on your device until you edit or delete them or uninstall the App, subject to the backup and deletion behaviour of your device and operating system.
DMCA does not maintain a separate user account or cloud copy of your local GoalPlus database.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should also protect access to your device.
7. Your choices and rights
You can:
- use GoalPlus without creating an account;
- leave the optional display name and profile picture blank;
- edit or delete goals and profile information within the App;
- remove your profile picture or revoke camera, photo, and notification access in device settings; and
- delete local App data by deleting entries or uninstalling the App, subject to your device’s backup settings.
Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide additional rights. Because GoalPlus does not use user accounts or maintain a separate cloud database of your local data, we may need information from you to determine whether we hold any information relating to your request. 8. Children’s privacy
GoalPlus is not directed to children under 13. Because the App does not provide accounts or upload user-entered content, DMCA does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, our service providers, or applicable requirements change. We will revise the “last updated” date on this page and provide additional notice where required.
